Corn is one of the main food crop, occupy very important position in grain production. Its grain nutrition is rich, oil protein, fat, starch, sugar and vitamins and other nutrients is contained. Besides eating corn is one of the industrial raw material which is widely used.
Corn germ is located in the base of grain, about a third of whole grain, its volume weight accounts for about 10-14%. Most of the fat in corn grain distribution in the embryo, generally up to 34-47%, and digestion rate is 95.8% on average, high nutritional value. Because fat contains unsaturated fatty acid, easy to be oxidized, brought some difficulties for safe keeping. Therefore,we should as far as possible to extract the embryo in the process of corn processing , and this can increase the application value of high oil resources, but also to safe keeping of the products, improve the quality of products.
